Scholarships
The Gore Family Foundation provides scholarships to secondary and tertiary institutions that have a transformative effect on the future of
young Jamaicans. We have developed scholarships for students at the University of
Technology (UTECH), The Mico University College (The Mico), and the University of the West Indies (UWI).
These include:
Fayan Fisher (2015)
The Clarice May Gore Memorial Scholarship, which assists aspiring practitioners in the field of Early Childhood Education at The Mico.
Andre Elliott (2015)
The James F Gore Memorial Scholarship sponsors promising students in Mico’s Pre University Men’s Programme, which helps to respond to the shortage of men in the classroom and in teacher training institutions in Jamaica.
Fabienne Davis (2015)
The Zoila Gore Memorial Scholarship at the Covent of Mercy Academy ‘Alpha’ is awarded to highly motivated and disciplined students who are service-oriented and who have earned the respect of their teachers and peers.
Kirk Morris (2005)
The E. Nadine Isaacs Memorial Scholarship, which assists budding architects at UTECH.
Sherona Forrester (2014)
The Gore Developments Limited Scholarship (GDL), which assists promising students in a number of degree programs at UWI.
