Gore Foundation partners with HEART to train St James youth

The Gore Foundation and HEART Trust\NTA are keeping hope alive for youth in the Granville, St James by providing persons between the ages of 18 and 24 with training and work experience.

This is being done in partnership with the Prime Minister’s Housing, Opportunities, Production and Employment (HOPE) Policy Initiative and implemented through the National Service Corps.

The Phillip and Christine Gore Family Foundation, last Friday officially signed a partnership agreement with the HEART Trust\ NTA to strengthen the programme in the Granville area.

The programme will sponsor 50 interns from St. James and provide training opportunities from the merged entity of the HEART\Trust NTA.

“We can no longer ignore the young people who have paid the price for a system that has failed them” said Christine Gore of the Gore Foundation.
